This industrial development provides 36 units and 60,000 sqft of much needed employment space.
The introduction of 26 light industrial units will transform an under-used brownfield site; through its development, benefit from enhanced management and landscape design.
The masterplan has been rigorously tested to ensure that the layout responds to the site’s constraints, enhances the existing natural environment and promotes a vibrant, healthy and sustainable new community.
A choice of unit sizes are proposed, creating a mix of employment uses. Heights are kept below the tree canopy line and a single architectural approach creates a cohesive development that is sensitive to the current environment whilst being sustainable for the future.
A striking and contemporary architectural appearance is proposed, using a high quality, robust and refined palette of materials. The corrugated and framed metal frontages create a contemporary industrial appearance that takes cues from the sites relationship with the adjacent Manchester Shipping Canal.
Construction is due to commence in Autumn 2023.
